He's not even smarter than a literal basketball. He doesn't deserve any special professional designation. Glenn Rivers or Jerk-Ass Rivers will be fine. 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." BBTV
I heard a stat that I didn't fact check, but based on my mental math, I'm sure is accurate: Tobias Harris has earned been paid the 2nd most money of any athlete while playing in Philadelphia. I'll never blame a player for signing a contract that was put in front of him, or a guy that was drafted too high - that's on the teams for mis-judging talent - unless those guys simply quit. I don't know if Harris (0 pts last night, mostly invisible during his entire tenure as a $40m/year season) took the bag and quit, or was never good to begin with (I'm assuming the latter), but it's unreal how much loser-ass players can make in the NBA. And some dummy team will give him another huge contract next year, because once you're in that range, you tend to stay up there and not get deals that are in line with your actual value. Not only that - but he has either a burner account, or a family member on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter, for nobody that doesn't already know that) that vehemently defends him when there's negative articles or fan tweets, posts crap on teammates, and posts propaganda about his true value to a winning team. Sixers already had their share of burner-account nonsense with that loser-ass loser Coangelo and his wife, but if it's true that it's orchestrated by Harris, that would be icing on the cake for a miserable tenure. Blame for the 76ers also goes to Kyle Lowry for also scoring 0 points, Harris and Lowry scoring 0 points in an elimination game at home are a disgrace and Philly fans and media should absolutely blast them both. It's a shame Joel Embiid is going to be trolled because of those two folding like a cheap suit, Embiid played his butt off. Sixers bench was also phenomenal. Digby
It's reasonable to blame Doc Rivers for the Bucks falling to the 3 seed (if they stayed at 2, Philly probably would've been an even tougher matchup) but losing Giannis for this series was the bigger problem for them, in all fairness. Has every team in the East lost a key starter for this playoff run? That's unfortunate for the game. 11 hours ago, SFGiants58 said: That 2008 title was such a fluke, given the rest of Doc’s resume. Yeah, it’s unfortunate that injuries are sandbagging the East thus far. 51 minutes ago, Digby said: Doc wasn't the problem for the Celtics in 2009 or 2010, injuries were. But still, the Clippers and 76ers tenures for him have been nothing short of damning regarding his ability to coach past mid-April. I've said this before but I kind of view those late-00s Celtics and Lakers teams as the last gasp of the traditional NBA and associated tactics. Perhaps he was better suited for a time of more rigid and predictable tactics, and just happened to click perfectly with that Celtics group. Before the Heatles and especially the Curry years changed everything.

Harris has been a non-contributor for 90% of his contract's duration. This isn't about one game. Certainly had higher expectations for Lowry, but gotta be realistic about a guy from the buy-out market that's at the end of the line. He's also not online (or has someone online on his behalf) saying how great he is. who do you think
We sure went from 'Denver is an unbeatable dynasty' (despite only winning it once and never submitting a great regular season) to 'Anthony Edwards is the next Michael Jordan' (haha what) real quick.
