But otherwise, I really like their new designs. They feel fairly timeless. BYU is not as good as their normal uniforms, but I can appreciate them as a throwback. However, they got the number font wrong. Interesting, considering it’s Nike’s own design they’re throwing back to. It’s actually a Champion design that carried over when BYU added Nike branding in 1996. As I recall as a frosh at the time, BYU was an early adopter of Nike branding. Couldn’t find a still image, but here’s video from 1995 when BYU still used Champion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eO6CoVP7YJQ 1 1 Quote Visit my store on REDBUBBLE

I like the black sleeve cap for the white jersey though.

They don't do three layer anymore. Big number, then just two outlines on top of that.
hormone
Looks like new UM unis…at least with block numerals. There are comments within the post that show screenshots from the new video game of what it could possibly look like

Strange choice, considering they had these same uniforms, later tweaked them with the Dade font, and are now reverting back to block numbers.

Single layer printed on, even if they weren’t printed though, they wouldn’t be three layers. Instead they outlines would be kiss cut and on top of the base number. Dynasty
20 hours ago, damnyoutuesday said: Still can't get the stripes on the white jersey and pants to match the helmet This will never not bother me. I understand the historical context to them, but many other teams have tweaked their uniforms over time to correct on their uniform flaws. Even their NFL counterpart in the Dolphins for the first three decades have done updates to fix their striping inconsistency, bleeding effect from their shoulder numbers, and cleaning up on the logo. The Canes have done multiple tweaks of their own in the past, but they keep ignoring the one that needs it the most.
Danny the Sheeb
So Miami is on their third different stint with the same exact set. The only other teams I can think of that have done that are Georgia and the Edmonton Oilers. 1 Quote "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. I guess not having to deal with a league logo means they wanted to fix the feng shui of the uniforms by keeping it centered.

Germanshepherd
Should be a new Middle Tennessee State set this week as well. I’d imagine we get a few others who want to beat the EA CFB release. 1 Quote i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscience
SavardToColton
Oh yeah, beating the EA release and also capitalizing on people talking about college football in July makes this such a ripe time to strike with engagements and what not. That said if these releases have the same striped Nike templates that Iowa State/Baylor/Minnesota dropped I'm going to be mildly miffed. While I don't want the days of 2000s piping to return, I want at least some effort from the Swoosh with these schools. But I'm aware I'm asking for too much lol.
