I would probably still choose the larger stripes, but I do like the smaller stripes. And a road uniform with thick stripes with the black B and gold spokes version of the Bruins logo. Calgary Flames Home and road for the Flames, the striping is now a 1-1-3-1-1 ratio and Blasty is on the shoulder, I wanted him on the jersey, but decided to be subtle about it. Well, as subtle as a fire breathing horse can be. The main motif from the flag of Calgary serves as the Captain's patch, and the hangar effect is Onward, the motto of the city of Calgary. The strap for the home bucket is now white as it was from 1980 to 1994. The alternate is a take on the 1998-2007 Blasty uniform, with the main logo having the white outline and black parts removed, to give the effect of Blasty looking out from the shadows. Like the home and road, the jersey uses the itallicised font. C+C would be cool.

I love the individual C and A patches for Calgary

VampyrRabbit
So hoping to get this project finished before the summer is over. Next up are the Kings. Los Angeles Kings I like silver and black for the Kings, but I like gold and purple more, and so those colours return. The home has a gold jersey, and purple pants, bucket and mitts, as all gold was a gold overload. The darker shade of purple introduced in the late nineties is the shade paired with gold, and the main logo is the crown featured in the new crest, and the KINGS wordmark is on the pants. I decided against The striping was inspired by the prototype Kings jersey from 1967, an idea I got from the excellent NHL prototype series thread. The alternate has a lighter shade of purple, and was inspired by the first Kings reverse retro. The main crest is a recoloured version of the newly introduced Kings main logo, with a larger crown. C+C would be cool. 3
Bomba Tomba
Dunno man, always felt yellow is not a suitable "dark" color Maybe have that as the away, purple home? Quote If you read on the card you'll be cheating on your heart.

I think the gold can work as a "dark" uniform with a deep shade of purple for the mitts, pants and bucket, the Preds have made gold work for them. I did make up a purple home uniform and gave the gold uniform gold mitts and a gold bucket, and designated that the road. At a push, I would have a gold home uniform and a white road, but I do think the purple home and gold away is a fine look too.
VampyrRabbit
Dallas Stars Home and Road for the Stars, these are based on the uniforms introduced when the franchise was still in Minnesota and used untill 1999. The main green is the deeper one used during the Stanley Cup winning season, and the main logo now has a bevelled star (using the current Victory Green) and STARS script (with the S and T now joined) from the old Texas Stars logo. The home and road now share the same stripe layout, with the stripes on the arm slanted. The Uniform set the Stars used in 1998-1999 is, for my money, one of the best in NHL history, so a Star uniform was a must. The star "outline" trim is now just white, and the socks match the jersey more closely than the original did, and the mitts, pants and bucket are the same used for the home jersey. I like the current uniform set the Stars have, but I like the set from 1998-99 more and so I would love an update of that set. C+C would be cool.
VampyrRabbit
Pittsburgh Penguins Home and road for the Pens, the striping is inspired by the classic Penguins look, but simplified, and the Penguin is the one from the main logo used in the first season of the team, but without the roundel, and with old gold gloves and a gold scarf. The golden triangle is now smaller and has a black and old gold outline. The front of the collar has a black/gold/black insert flanked by white to recall the flag of Pittsburgh, and on the shoulders is a revised Robopenguin. There are also golden triangles on each side of the pants, and the stockings go from three stripes to matching the hem striping for the home, and with one gold band and one thick black band for the road. The alternate is a take on the uniform worn during the 2008 Winter Classic and as an alternate during 2008-2011. I just liked the double blue more than a gold jersey in either shade of gold the Pens used. C+C Would be cool.
VampyrRabbit
St Louis Blues Home and Road for the Blues, these are inspired by both the 1984-94 and 1994-1998 jerseys, with the navy the team currently uses added to the mix. The striping has 5 navy lines and slanted shoulder striping, The note logo has only one outline and has the ST. LOUIS script embossed. The pants logo is the wordmark from 1995-1997 stripped down, and the shoulder logo is the Gateway Arch with the B from the same wordmark. On the inside of the collar is the gold disc and Fleur de Lis from the flag of St Louis. I decided against adding red to the mix and just went with the two shades of blue and gold as the colours. For the alternate, an all navy uniform with the same striping style as the home and road. C+C Would be cool.

Minnesota Wild The Wild have one of my fave identities in all of sports, with the main logo being the highlight. The scheme stays, with tweaked shades of green, wheat and red, and I went for a traditional hockey stripe pattern. On the shoulders is the M/W emblem, and on the inside in the original font for the team is "State of Hockey". The same font, another fave of mine, is used for the name and number. On the breezers is the Wild script from the teams original wordmark. The C is on an outline of MN. I originally planned on using the original colours of the North Stars for the third, but found it hard to work the breezer and shoulder logo into the design. Also I feel the main emblem loses something when converted into the North Stars shades. So I decided to plump for a red alternate, with contrasting yoke and a different collar and hose layout than the home and road, and with mostly red mitts. The hem stripe is also flipped upside down. C + C would be cool.
