New Sim Baseball League

Brass

Recommended Posts

I don't think there are too many of us that could actually pic a really solid 25 man roster with 29 other people doing the same thing.

I'm confident I could.

By definition, 'SIM' means simulation. 8 teams, all with very solid lineups, by no means simulates Major League Baseball.

Whatever the number we choose, I'm still interested in playing.

Call me The Devil's Advocate.

Ok, the deadline for people to sign up to join is tommorrow, November 1st at 3:00 pm EST. Yes, I know very soon, but a lot of people have viewed this. Not sure when but, I will post who the owners are and there team. I will then PM Chris and hope he gives us a forum. BTW Chris, would you ever need a Sim League advisor? Similiar to what Mac does for the Fantasy League? :therock:

Brass, you may be able to cull 16 good teams from the applicants.

Ok, after the first person signed up, I've created a list of the owners I would like. I truthly would like all of you, but 8 teams would be enough for the inagurual season of the MLSB. So here are our first owners:

Calgary/Moose Jaw - Stampman

Connecticut - BrassBonanza97

Houston - Shizznick

Kenosha - Pcgd

Miami - Braden

New Orleans - Lamicus

Pittsburgh - PittUnited

Toronto - CC97

I based my owners on:

1.)Experience on the CCSLC boards.

2.)Personal experience with other owners in various other leagues.

To the users that didn't get picked, don't worry, as we will have expansion most likely after the first season if all works well.

Kudos to all the owners. I Pmed Chris about this.

Yep me too.

I'm not surprised, that in this time of year, politics has done us in.

To keep the peace, really Brass, why not go with 12 teams? 12 is still manageable, plus allows for 3 divisions and a wild card...

My $.02

Hmmm, well I was hoping 4 teams make the playoffs and then the winners of those play in the World Series. But if we want, we can go to 12.

Still works. Winners of each division, and a wild card team. 4 playoff teams.

That way, a few more worthy owners get in, and I have a larger talent pool from which to draw upon to help get my team's logos and unies done. :D

Well my idea was that the #1 team in the East Confrence plays the #2 team in the West Confrence and vice versa.
