Jim O"Brien was a Celtics coach for a few seasons, he is still very respected in the city. Maybe it's an odd form of a tribute. See Red Posted November 4, 2004 Share Posted November 4, 2004 I think the knee-high's look good with the Nets white uniform. Especially with the red on the shoes. If the red on the shoes was replaced by blue it'd look kinda weird to me.Not quite sure how the knee-high's would look with the Sixers black uniforms.
