mwilbury Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I thought I'd share my fantasy team's new alternate jerseys with you guys. I took it as my task to make my alternate jersey even more ridiculous than the Oregon Ducks' and Cincinnati Bengals. (I'm still not sure if I beat the Ducks). It is intended to look a little sparkly (a la rhinestone cowboy), but I'm not sure I conveyed that part well.Anyways let me know what you think. As discussed in the photo edit thread, my brother created the helmet concept (which everyone I've spoken to seems to love) and all the photoshop work is mine. The guy who's getting punched is my friend who I beat last week (coach of the Slob Knobbers. We have some great team names in our league). The mullet and cowboy hat are costume pieces.Winter Park Snow CrabHere's my team's standard jersey if you missed it before.

Needschat Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Fringe is not new. The 1978 North American Soccer League Caribous of Colorado had leather fringe around their midriff. R Oh what could have been....
gordie_delini Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 please people, can we stop ripping on the ducks? in person, those unis do not look that bad! ok, maybe the basketball ones, but not the football ones. as a current duck i protest this bashing of my beloved athletic teams!

Diablo de Tejas Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 If you have ever seen Starship Troopers, you have already witnessed the future of football uniforms. I'm looking for some better photos, but here is a link to a black & white photo I found. http://www.csulb.edu/~d49er/fall1996/v3n1/pyramid.jpg
