Stampman
Hmm--some are interesting, but I wouldn't expect to see any of them for real...(I didn't do these--just found them as it says above)NFL helmet redesign Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here." Nick 1733
Working on an NFL Re-Design Project of my own, I'll critique them all, if you don't mind.Cardinals - great, love that logo and the whole idea.Bills - not so keen on this one, I think their Buffalo just needs to be modernized, nice job though.Colts - great idea, the horseshoes look a little strange to me though.Browns - I'm sorry, but I just don't want to see Cleveland change their helmet itself, maybe put the 'B' logo on it.Cowboys - love the idea, great.Lions - just looks too funny to me.Packers - I like it, awesome job.Jaguars - straighten out the logo and make the helmet silver.Chiefs - don't like it, that's the logo from Madden.Dolphins - like the sun, keep their current dolphin.Vikings - logo is really cool, just don't like the way it looks on the helmet.Patriots - love it, great idea, get rid of the Patriot.Saints - don't like the color combination and I like their current logo.Jets - cool idea, just the jet is too plain.Raiders - black helmet is great, their current logo would look good on it with some color modification.Steelers - not feeling this one either, I like the logo modification I did.Redskins - they need to change their name, but I love that logo, totally awesome.Overall; Wonderful job, great work man. winters in buffalo
I really didn't like any of these. They remind me of something you'd see in an old video game that didn't get licensing from the NFl, so they use parodies of teh actual teams. TruColor
That Cardinals helmet is based off of a mini-helmet design from a few years ago. I don't know if this guy actually MADE the mini-helmet, or if he just "borrowed" the idea:
winters in buffalo
I would guess that he borrowed it. It seems to be a different style than the rest of his designs.
Nick 1733
That Cardinals helmet is based off of a mini-helmet design from a few years ago. I don't know if this guy actually MADE the mini-helmet, or if he just "borrowed" the idea: I saw that helmet four years ago. So yea, it's not that original of an idea, I have the logo myself and have had it for that long. MLB, NBA, NFL & NHL Font Packs
buffalo soldier
not only do i dislike all of these concepts, i dont like this guy's logic that if something's old, it needs to be changed. if its not broken, dont fix it. there's nothing wrong with the steelers, browns, packers, jets, raiders ,colts ,cowboys, and saints current helmets. Jezus_Ghoti
As just a fun little project, the guy's stuff is interesting and entertaining. If he is serious about these changes being a good thing, though, I am worried.

OnWis97
I think Jacksonville's is an improvement. Other than that....ugh. winghaz
The guy should have followed his own advice about state flags. He listed some that should never be changed, some that should have slight changes and some that should be scrapped altogether. He could have done the same with NFL helmets.Since he didn't, I will.Helmets that should never be changed (except, maybe, the facemask color, if that):CowboysBearsCardinalsGiantsRamsPackersSaintsVikingsBengals (I know, many of you will disagree with me, but I like 'em)ColtsChiefsHelmets that could use some tweaking, major or minor:FalconsLions (get rid of the black)PanthersEagles49ersRedskinsBuccaneersSeahawksBillsTexansDolphinsJaguarsSteelers (just put the logo on both sides of the helmet)Chargers (we're all in agreement as to what should be done here)Helmets that should be scrapped. Start all over:RavensBroncosPatriotsTitansAnd one more category: Helmets that should be redesigned, but, on the other hand, shouldn't because of the tradition behind them:BrownsRaidersJets
Gothamite
I have to laugh at anyone who keeps insisting "This is far better than what they have now" or "This is a vast improvement." Keep repeating that, bub. Maybe someday you'll convince yourself.I'm also very wary of someone who would change just about every single helmet logo EXCEPT the hairball Jaguars. We're obviously talking about some warped design aesthetics here. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
