My wife and I are expecting our first child Jan 3rd and it's chaos trying to get everything ready. I DO have plans for some major updates soon though. . . My wife and I highly recommend getting an epidural. She slept through the worst of her contractions that way. If you're in the delivery room, be ready to feel like a fifth wheel (you'll probably feel that way anyway after the baby arrives). Also, if you have the chance to have someone spend the first few nights at home with the three of you (someone who's had a baby), it is incredibly helpful.And, remember that the second one is much easier You'll hardly notice the third!
