IronChefShark Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 I got the inspiration for this when cruising SF last night. On lombard street heading torwards the golden gate bridge I saw a british pub called "Club Anfield" and the sign had a red bird on it. So, here ya go, the Satanic Swan takes the ice!You will never walk alone! US state flag concepts
Discrim Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 i see where this is about to go...are ya gonna do Arsenal next? :: A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
IronChefShark Posted May 26, 2003 Author Posted May 26, 2003 hmmm,....I dont know. EPL hockey x-overs? I mainly just wanted to do this one, but Arsenal....hmmmm US state flag concepts
Discrim Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 ok, just think about it. one thing, though: that piece of crap the gooners wear as a change strip is a female canine as far as reproducing it, if you know what i mean. i can't wait til they dump it A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
-kj Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 At first I thought you meant the Sydney Swans. *heh* (Aussie Rules hockey x-overs? Hmmm...)The jerseys look swank. Nice subtle edit of the crest. IronChefShark Posted May 26, 2003 Author Posted May 26, 2003 (so far it looks like only discriminhater has posted a comment...)maybe crossing over some mexican clubs would work......of course, Pumas allready has a hockey team (UNAM is the national university of mexico, and thier teams all compete against pro teams.) US state flag concepts
STL FANATIC Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Shark, I have read two threads in a row. Mockba has given you good comments in both of them. It seems you now are noting that you are not noting his post? ??? Looks like he's decided to see your work for what it is, and maybe put aside your "feud". Maybe you should acknowledge his praise instead of well doing what you did. I don't mean to start this up, but eh... JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
Discrim Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 of course, Pumas allready has a hockey team (UNAM is the national university of mexico, and thier teams all compete against pro teams.)how bout x-ing chivas over then, since pumas already has hockey? ??? the home would be very interesting, i guarantee. spyboy1 Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 The number, the crest and the sponsor all on the front of a hockey jersey just doens't look right. I'm so used to seeing just one big crest there. I know that's the EPL look, but I'd have a hard time getting used to that format in a hockey jersey.JeffB Click here to read Third String Goalie - The Hockey Jersey of the Day Blog Click here to see my hockey and baseball jersey collection online ?You don?t like to see 20 kids punching 20 other kids. DEAD! Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 Mockba Posted: May 25 2003,23:36At first I thought you meant the Sydney Swans. *heh* (Aussie Rules hockey x-overs? Hmmm...)Aussie Rules hockey x-overs. Not a bad idea. You can take the long sleeve version of the uniforms and stick in the team logo in front. Say, maybe the New Jersey Devils should consider looking at the Melbourne Demons jersey as a basis for their third jersey.http://www.geocities.com/quadival/melbourne.gif I saw, I came, I left.
dwertman Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 As much as I dislike Liverpool,Anfield, and everything about that club....Thats a very sharp concept man....great job Kings Cross AFC -BIP, Winnipeg Falcons - TNFF, St. Louis Archers - MLF

Frylock Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 VERY COOL!!! I'm not a soccer/euro-football fan at all, but their crests can be some of the coolest anywhere. Excellent job on the x-over, but then again, you've got that x-over talent! Looking forward to more!
