STL FANATIC
I've never been a real big fan of the crossed sticks logo Yzer. It may be as simple as the fact that I can just easily identify them as the Ducks' sticks, and even if I'm wrong on that, they give me that impression. So I'd lean away from that logo in these designs. However, the DH by itself is too bland. I think something that says hockey more (I know...it blatantly says HOCKEY, but you know what I mean, lol) is needed.I haven't yet figured out what would work, but I think it's needed. CJR
Yeah, they are modeled after the sticks from the Ducks' logo. The tape is different, that's about it.I get what you're saying about needing something that says "hockey" but I don't have any better ideas. I don't dislike my current logo or the proposed secondaries but I'm always trying for something better. I'm wodering if just adding a black outline to the DH will make it pop a bit more, but I don't have time right now to try it. Maybe later. KennyRock
Maybe have a "generic" wooden hockey stick behind the 19 and one behind 96, with the head of each stick pointing towards the center of the logo? winters in buffalo
I like #2, but unlike everyone else, how about the DH logo with #2's surrounding circle? That's what I had been thinking in the first place, before seeing all the love for option #2. Is what you're thinking something like this: That's nice right there!

Not sure I'll use it, the angles of the sticks seem to contrast too harshly with the curves of the shield and the D.At this point I'm kind of just playing around, throwing stuff out there. STL FANATIC
Yzer, do you think I might be able to get the file of your concepts? I want to mess with a couple of ideas, but revectorizing or doing it in photoshop is not something I've got the time for.If not, it's cool and I can try to explain anything that comes to me.circusmidget02-at-yahoo-dot-com JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
