Puckguy14
It's not a new A's logo. The "A's Brand" was a marketing scheme from this past season. Note that the A is very similar to the A on the caps, not the official primary logo itself.
DEAD!
That's probably just an advertising tool

STL FANATIC
It's not a new A's logo. The "A's Brand" was a marketing scheme from this past season. Note that the A is very similar to the A on the caps, not the official primary logo itself. Actually Puck, according to Chris' site, that logo is niether the one on the caps or in the primary. It is from their old set of logos...which is weird. KennyRock
I don't think he meant that the A from A's Brand was an actual logo, just that it looks close to one. A few of team's websites have some unique marketing tool or alternate logo they don't actually use on any part of a current uniform. The White Sox, for example, have a logo that says "Sox Pride" on their website.
f-ing palko
Does anyone remember the A's TATC logo? It was sort of 3-d, actually it was the only TATC logo that was actually worth looking at... i wouldnt mind seeing that as an alt.
f-ing palko
Found the A's TATC hat. I think it's pretty good, certainly the best of all the TATC sillyness. it would make a better alt then those black alts they had for a while, which were awful.A's TATC cap
Puckguy14
Glad to see everyone paid attention to me. A's Brand was an ad campaign for the A's this past year. It's not a new logo. In fact they several variations in their TV and print ads this year. Anyways to point out about the cap...The logo on the cap doesn't match the one on CC's site. FiddySicks
i know robert buan, who is the post game announcer for the A's. he says it was just designed as advertising for the team.
DEAD!
I've been pondering about this question: Who thinks that the Athletics should just go with the 'A' on their caps?
wheateater
I've been pndering about this question: Who thinks that the Athletics should just go with the 'A' on their caps? Well, since they're known more commonly as "the A's" than "the Athletics," I think sticking with the apostrophe and 's' is a good idea. Otherwise, greenhorn logo fans might confuse it for Atlanta or Anaheim....if they're unintelligent. I dunno. I just think I like the "A's" on the cap. Looks dignified and traditional...and I like that.
STL FANATIC
Back to the TACT talk...the Cards' probably were the best looking of the bunch to be honest and homerish.
rockchalk
Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't the Cards pretty much exactly the same thing, just made to fit on the sleeveless jersey?
