BallWonk Posted December 28, 2004 Author Share Posted December 28, 2004 Thanks to all for the critiques. Valuable stuff, and it's given me some ideas to work on this winter. (Particularly the Veggie Tales rhubarb character.) On the uniform front, I played around with the alternates a bit to come up with something more rhubarby. Red pinstriped pants with a green shirt didn't quite work for me, and solid red pants were too, well, 1970s. In all the wrong ways. Instead, I turned to some old-time uniforms I've seen and made a green shirt with a solid red placket and collar to get a sort of leaf-and-stalk look. I then topped the ensemble off with a cap bearing my cartoon rhubarb guy. I actually kind of like this alternate, and if McFarlane ever puts out another player on my team I might consider customizing it in this look to go with my home-whites Nomar custom.Anyway, here are the new unis inspired by the very helpful C&C I got: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
