TruColor Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 OK, per the athletic marketing director, the new LMU logos were introduced in 1999. The school was founded in 1911. Here's the old logo (you'll have to vectorize it because of the size). Cool. I'll make the update to my database.Thanks.

Below is a link to the newest sets of athletic logos, plus the Pantone colors.http://www.publications.tcu.edu/logos/Athletics/PMS 268, with 267 as an alternate.Give me time to get the older helmet logos such as the "Flying TCU" used roughly from 1977 to about 1991. The current arched TCU in what they call "varsity" font was instituted in 1991, with the frog added in 1998.

bhambruiser Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Alabama Crimson Tide 1831-Pres The university was founded in 1831, but they didn't have a football team until 1892...i don't know what sport they had first.....is he doing when the university was founded?...i guess so judging by the other dates. gordie_delini Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 chris, i hate to tell you this, but the University of Oregon logos you've got on there are NOT the primary logos used by the school. Nike's "O" logo and script are the primary marks, with the interlocking "UO" as a secondary mark. I have both the new "O" logo and script, and i can send them to you. As a student at Oregon, I'd personally like to see this oversight taken care of. PM me if you'd like those logos

dfwabel Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 bucfan is correct. 28 .pdf pages it way too much for logos and wordmarks for an athletic departmetn only. I would hate to see how many pages exist to use the university seal and the other university wordmarks/logos! I got tired at page 13.Gordi, as for the Oregon logos, it states that the logos listed are through 2000, when the university changed. FYI, the yellow "O" is the university seal too (gordie can attest to that too). Please be patient.
rockchalk Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Okay, KU has a couple of pages of logos that you probably won't be able to use, but here goes anyway.KU Traditions-Legend of the JayhawkKU Athletic Dept. This version is from the Athletic Dept. and has versions of the same logos in color. I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow
