There are a few MILLION people in the Philadelphia area who care. People like me who have seen the Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers all fall short in their respective championship series and the Eagles fall short trying to get there. I've never seen a Philly championship (I was one in '83 with the sixers), I have felt sick and hurt and angry long enough. Today is my day, today is our day, to finally celebrate and exorcise all the demons. I will be hurt if we don't win the Super Bowl, but for one day at least, Philly, its team and its fans can stand up and be proud participants on the grandest stage in sports instead of being pegged as losers or morons or whatever-else people who don't know us as fans or us as a city call us. Let us have our day now and our 2 weeks please because even if you don't care WE DO.
