rmered Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 Yes indeed, they are the North Melbourne Football Club, trading as Kangaroos.They don't want to be seen as a suburb, which virtually all other Victorian teams are.The contemplated moving to Sydney, that didn't work. Then Canberra, that's not working.They could add a city name if they found a new home, but so far noone seems to want them as much as they've already got in Melbourne.Western Bulldogs are the same thing. They thought they could change from Footscray and slide into Western Sydney. Didn't work either.
