Cashcleaner
NFL: Damn, I don't even pay attention to the NFL. I sure as hell don't want Toronto getting a team though, so let's pu an expansion in......Los Angeles. How can the 2nd largest US city not have a professional footbal team? It's beyond me.MLB: Won't happen being so close to Seattle, but I say give Vancouver a team. Montreal had it's chance, but many they can pull it off on the west coast.NBA: Geeze....And I don't even like basketball that much. Hmmmm, I got nothing.NHL: Bring back Winnipeg!! Failing that, Hamilton has been clamouring for a team for years as well. It's not their fault for being located so close to Toronto and Buffalo.MLS: Toronto can totally support a soccer team I would expect, so lets give them one!CFL: Come on Tom Wright, let's get the ball rolling on an Atlantic franchise. Halifax is the perfect site for a new team. Thanks go to Eddie010 for the Signature and Avatar. Nice work, mate!
Phil
CFL: Come on Tom Wright, let's get the ball rolling on an Atlantic franchise. Halifax is the perfect site for a new team. Given the tedious economic situation in the Maritimes, the lack of a stadium, and a rather lukewarm local reception since the idea has been presented, I wouldn't exactly use "perfect" in describing the location. That said, I'd love to see it happen, but more than anything, I'd hate to see it fail. Tom, take it slow if that's what it'll mean to do it right.

OMMF
THough I think Expansion is and should be out of the question for atleast the next 10 years Ill play along. NFL:Los Angeles is the 2nd largest TV market and for that reason alone they will get a team and will get a stadium and will get to host Super Bowls, and it will come soon as I thin the Saints will be going Hollywood after the 2005 season.MLB: Las Vegas why not? Gambling is an industry there but its not the only thing they can ban betting on baseball or the team in the city limits and it will be fine, gambling is exapnding out ward with Indian Casinos taht advertise during games, it wont be a problem many once thought it was or would have been 20-30 years ago.NHL: Seattle there are no NHL teams in the US-Northwest I thinks its an area where hockety would trhive and has historic roots see 1917 Stanley Cup CHampions Seattle Metropolitans.NBA:St. Louis it was a NBA city once before its a great sports town with 3 teams just missing the NBA to be complete. Seattle's an intersting choice because it was the first American city to hoist the cup and the T-Birds have quite a following. Problem is that Key Arena is a basketball facility. The configuration of Key Arena is like Phoenix and San Antonio. I would say Portland would get and NHL team before Seattle because the Rose Garden (great name for an arena by the way) is better suited for hockey. I don't know about Houston, I think it would a great market and there would a great rivalry with Dallas Close. Phoenix could actually sell seats at the one end. We don't even have any down there. To get the ice down, you have to push in the whole south end of lower bowl seats. Now, the first blue line to the left is where center court on the Sonics floor is and is also where the scoreboard hangs overhead. As you can see, clearly not made for hockey. Also, "quite a following" may be giving us a little too much credit.

DEAD!
Close. Phoenix could actually sell seats at the one end. We don't even have any down there. But you see where I was getting at there. Well, the T-Birds have been around a while which what I based my comment on. Though, I realise that their average attendance is not all that good. I saw, I came, I left.
LMU
NFL-Los Angeles, Birmingham (don't see the NFL infringing on CFL territory)MLB-Las Vegas, PortlandNBA-Kansas City, Louisville/Cincinnati (assuming NBA expands before Magic or Hornets move into the Sprint Center), MAYBE San Diego.NHL-Kansas City, Winnipeg (Assuming Ducks don't move to KC, and if a powerful group actually invests in Winnipeg)MLS-Houston, Phoenix (Will expand to heavily Latin markets with actual fan bases, unlike Miami)AFL-Boston, DC, Raleigh, Kansas City
LawDawg
NHL Team in MAINE seams like a good idea with as good as they are in College Hockey.. Bring back a team in Minnesota and possible North Dakota.. Get rid of the Warm Climate Hockey, bring it back to Canada and the North were it is more respected. Granted I know hockey has more tradition in Canada, but some warm climate cities, like San Jose and Dallas have shown that some areas can work. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
FiddySicks
NBA: Kansas City, call me a Homer but with AEG running the Sprint Center I think that we will get a team.NHL: Kansas City, See NBAMLS: San Antonio, they are currently trying to lure the Kansas City Wizards there. well, if they cant support an MLS team, how are they going to support an NBA and NHL team?honestly, i think Sacramento, California could very easily support an MLB team. and if done right, maybee Reno Nevada On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) I know they often mention San Jose/Santa Clara, but S.F. has that territory.
Cyclopsis Joe
NFL: Los Angeles. How can the 2nd largest US city not have a professional footbal team? It's beyond me.
