Is it just me or is this guy really annoying?

First you posted spam on the main board disguised as a patriots concept, then you posted several polls, now you're telling another member to shut up.

You're having a heck of a first day here on the boards, hmm?

yeah, at one point he had 5 posts, three of wich got graveyarded

I'd take his five over your 9.1 average. :P

You know, I show up the day before. Of all the luck in the world! Oh well, at least I got to see my Yankees pulverize his Jays 18-6. Watch Tony Clark hit 3 HRs, Reuben Sierra his 500th and a GrandSlam, A-Rod Homer, oh yeah and I got to see Mr. Creamer himself.

That was my 13th game last season. Usually I hate seeing the Yankees or Red Sox play but that was a great game. I remember when Gibbons summoned Kerry "Light'em Up" Ligtenberg to face Sierra with the bases loaded. I shook my head the entire time he was warming and first pitch... BOOM towards Windows for a Slam. I could'nt stop laughing the rest of the game.

Anyways, I know of several Buffalonians that freuqent the 90 minute ride to see some MLB. I usually get a 7-pack and then some cheap 500-level tickets for some more.

Chris, do you always usher in right field?? That's where I sit for my 7-pack.

Lastly, the anticipation of what Skydome looks like now is almost unbearable. I hope I can see some pics soon.

I started enjoying that blowout -- when the Jays brought in second baseman Frank Menechino to pitch I couldn't stop laughing (he was actually the best Jays pitcher of the inning).

Starting at the All-Star Game last year I moved up to the 200 Level because I hated the pressure of working on the first level (i've had a few fans run on the field from my section, and plus I started to hate dealing with people sneaking down from the cheap seats).

I tend to work in right field on the 200 level once every 3 games... while on 100 i always seemed to be down the third base line in foul territory of left field.

Of course in 2003 I was behind the Jays dugout almost every game

Went there during a 7-day, 7-game, 7-city road trip in October 2003. Saw the Yankees play. I think the next day (?) they announced the new unis, but I had already moved on to Detroit by then. I missed CC, though... asked around a little, but I sat in the 500s, so that's probably why.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I liked the place, but then again I like all ballparks. Roof was open, so seeing the CN Tower, uh, towering over the field was cool. Went up in it later. First time in Canada... liked the city, liked the SkyDome, but the Chips Ahoy and Oreos were very different (me and my dad's staples for our ballpark road trips).

never gonna be at the can o' concrete

ugliest thing soince calgary

Hmmm, judging a place you've never been to... i guess this is why you thought that the Commonwealth Stadium scoreboard in Edmonton was similar in size to the scoreboard at the ole' Rogers Centre SkyDome.

soince?

Man, Edmonton is probably the blandest of all CFL cities--even Regina...

Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here."

I've been to SkyDome a couple of times, and despite the large amounts of concrete, I find it a magnificent facility. The shere scale of the building and the monument to stadium design and technological advancement... not to mention the two World Series banners hanging in the rafters.

Plus the Hard Rock Cafe has some sweet ribs.

Although I have heard the ushers there are jerks. :P^_^
