vicfurth
Okay, since we're on the subject of Emmitt Smith, who else might retire this year? The only ones I've heard of are Brett Favre and Jerry Rice (about five years too late).
Pat
I hope and pray to God that Favre comes back for at least one more year. Rice is far overdue. Ive also heard maybe Bettis. Id like to see him back

See Red
I don't think Favre should retire. How old is he? 33? He's still effective and besides, John Elway was winning Super Bowls when he was like, 37.And just as Emmitt Smith will retired as a Cowboy... I think Jerry Rice should do the same and sign a short contract with the 49ers and then retire.

CZzyzx41
Alstott may retire Dude say it ain't so!!! I know he ain't as great as his 1999-2003 self, but he's not a stiff.Just gets injured too easily nowadays. And I always liked Humphries. Wasn't much of a Chargers fan back in the day but I never had a problem with him. Chandler however...dude should have retired shortly after that 1998 season.
