Anaheim oughta be the next AL host (or Tampa Bay).

But then will it be the Los Angeles All Star Game of Anaheim? :P

Anaheim had it in 1989

Yankee Stadium or Kansas City

Neither has had it since the 70s, and despite new stadiums Pittsburgh should wait til 2014.

I say nobody shoudl host a stadium without a 20-year wait.

I think the Mets, Marlins, Devil Rays, and Twins will have to wait for new stadiums. Since the Marlins and Twins seem the closest to that here's my predictions for the All-Star Game future:

2008 Yankee Stadium

2009 Busch Stadium II

2010 Bank One Ballpark

2011 Angels Field

2012 PETCO Park

2013 New Washington Ballpark

2014 Minnesota Ballpark

2015 New Marlins Park

2016 Great American Ballpark

2017 New Fenway Park

2018 Citizen's Bank Ballpark

2020 Wrigley Field

2021 New Kansas City Park (if they get one)

2022 New Mets Stadium if there is one

2023 Dodger Stadium (renevated or rebuilt)

What do you guys think?

MLB has already guaranteed the Marlins an ASG within 5 years after the new park opens (2008).

Why does Cincy have to wait so long? Did they host it in the past 20 years at Riverfront?

Work stoppage in 2019?

Maybe you could squeeze old miltown in again, its still been a long time since we've seen a completed all-star game....

Where's the "I'm so embarassed" smiley? All I can make up on the spot is a CBA will end then giving us an NHL-like cancelled season. The difference is baseball survives and play resumes in 2020. or something like that. *smacks self in head* Dope!
