All staff positions are presently vacant and open for interested parties. The club will examine all aspects of the organization internally and externally with emphasis on: (1) The proper venue in which to play (2) The league in which to play. Considerations will be given to the American Basketball Association, Continental Basketball Association and the International League. Close examination of issues such as team travel, team stability and league leadership will be taken into consideration. A Calgary based advisory group is in the process of being formed to examine all aspects of the Drillers to ensure the correct decision is made. (3) Coaching (4) Management (5) Practice Facilities All Questions regarding the past operation of the Drillers from December 4/05 till the present should directed to : Al Howell P.O. The team must have changed it because what you posted differs from the link. I think they meant what is up there now which is they are focusing on the 2005-6 season. The team must have changed it because what you posted differs from the link. I think they meant what is up there now which is they are focusing on the 2005-6 season. They could be focused on 2037-38 and it wouldn't matter. They're dead meat, just like the rest of the ABA will be eventually. Y'know, the IBA (and then the NBL) was actually pretty good basketball (and I say this as someone who doesn't like hoops).Although what stunk was that in Winnipeg's second year in the league, only two teams were left, Dayton and us...so we got to play a best of 7 for the championship.We still lost.
