TruColor Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Here's the first real pic I've seen of Bert Berry at the Pro Bowl practice in Hawaii wearing the helmet with the new logo:Oh, and rumor has it that someone spotted Adrian Wilson going into the Cardinals practice facility yesterday wearing the new Cardinal Red jersey. No pics, but they described it as "red jersey, white piping, white numbers with black outline and yellow outline inside of that, black neckline. No word on if they saw striping on the sleeve or card head logo...".We're hearing that the bird head WILL be on the sleeves, the numbers are a custom font that matches the new wordmark, and there's a (brace yourselves) Black alternate coming. Personally, I think the new logo would look better on a dark helmet - partly due to the fact that the thick White outline makes the whole thing seem bigger. Well, it makes it take up more room anyway.And...I'm happy about having Gold/Yellow as an accent color. And, I'm especially happy about there being a lot more Black. Has any other teams ever (in the modern era) made a change to a uniform at some point in a season? It just seems odd that the new logo is making it's debut in a season that it was never worn in.
