goalie pad rules

if the nhl comes back, will they change the rules on the size of the goalie stuff. will koho and the rest of the companies sell the pads and stuff at the new rules or keep it the same for all of there pads.

all i know is that it seems that goalies and goalie pads seem to grow every year, so i think they need to shrink them
