alkatraz
Here's my concept for The Colts. I tried to kept thier original logo, just bold it up a bit. I changed thier colors to more of a navy blue/silver/black/white.
ColeJ
looks like the cowboys more than the colts... i don't like it.as much as i hate the colts, i really think they've got damn near perfect uniforms.
Chazberg
Wow congratulations, you applied every trend i can't stand to these uniforms. Seriously, Detroit's already been there/done that. Indy is perfect as is. The black shoes are plenty. charles-noerenberg.com
alkatraz
Hold a minute, is this forum stuck in the 60's. Please tell me why you think the Colts' logo is near perfect. If the Colts logo is near perfect, the bring back the old Bronco's, Ram's and Eagle's.
DarthMan
actually i like it- it makes it more effective, although white sleeve stripes would be good "We have nothing to fear except fear itself."
-kj
The Colts' logo is clean, and has held up to the test of time. The only change to be made, as I see it (and I'm surprised STL didn't beat me to it) is to change the helmet stripe from a single stripe to a double stripe, to match the shoulders of the jerseys.Your change isn't bad, but it does look more like the Cowboys than the Colts. The Colts' blue-and-white is, in these days of wilder colour combinations, what makes the Colts unique in the NFL.The Broncos, Eagles, and Rams (note the lack of apostrophes when pluralizing those words) make significant changes to their logos, rather than just adding an outline. All three of them made changes for the better by leaps and bounds, though I did always like the "Orange Crush" jerseys (I even own one). Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! STL FANATIC
The only change to be made, as I see it (and I'm surprised STL didn't beat me to it) is to change the helmet stripe from a single stripe to a double stripe, to match the shoulders of the jerseys. I didn't beat you, but I will agree.Except, that's no longer the only change. They need to go back to a blue facemask or make it a white facemask.Grey has no part in their color scheme and therefore shouldn't be the color of their facemask. If they wanted to put some grey back into the uniforms, then they might be able to make the grey mask work, but I think they'd end up messing up the rest of the uniform.Moral of the story: Make the stripe a double, and turn grey to blue, and you might as well call them perfect. If the Colts logo is near perfect, the bring back the old Bronco's, Ram's and Eagle's. i for one am not stuck in the 60's. i believe in progression not being stuck in amber. no uniform is untouchable to me. with that said, i like the concept. the black isn't needed. i have a logo concept, that is sorta similar but i put a silver/grey border around the logo and darkened the blue. ColeJ
Hold a minute, is this forum stuck in the 60's. Please tell me why you think the Colts' logo is near perfect. If the Colts logo is near perfect, the bring back the old Bronco's, Ram's and Eagle's. in all fairness, i never said the colts LOGO was near perfect...... even though it is timeless and effective.and again, in all fairness, you didn't really change the logo for your concept. just added some outlines to it.so if you're going to bash the colts logo, and say that it's stuck in the 60's (and so are we?), maybe you should make them a new one in your concept, instead of just change the colors of it? P.I.L.L.
so if you're going to bash the colts logo, and say that it's stuck in the 60's (and so are we?), maybe you should make them a new one in your concept, instead of just change the colors of it? although the horse shoe IS timeless and classic... apparently, it's not so "lucky" for Peyton and co.... so, I propose that they leave history behind... and go w/ an actual COLT , a simple silouhette ... charging. speaking of which... where's my mastercard ? "lucky" horshoe definitely works for me here

also... the logo reads as "U", which was great for Unitas and all that... but here's an idea... turn the "U" sideways, and ya gotta "C" followed by "olts" in block or script , as a modern update... hmmmm... and Buc, go to the NFL.com site / store for anyteam... they've got all the teams logos on thongs ! gotta love the NFL !
