CC97 Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Hey there,Took a break from the gruelling NCAA to add a neat little feature on the site -- not sure how many out there would like it or not but it's there nonetheless.Inspired by a similar feature on Yzerfan's site, I call it "Logo Year in Review", it allows you to view all of a league's primary logos (thumbnailed) on one page, comes with a handy dandy search feature within the section (page wide search feature on the way). With this new section comes four unreleased logos (at least that I'm aware of), check out the new section and the 2005 MLB Post-Season logos here! Please feed me your comments/critiques about the new section in this thread if you have any.Enjoy. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
slapshot Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Does Major League Baseball still use those highly detailed logos for the American & National Leagues? I thought they pretty much switched to the newer streamlined versions. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016

eriqjaffe Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Chris, the logo-by-year is a terrific feature.I am addicted to OOTP Baseball, and the thumbnail logos are exactly the right size for use in the game. Just terrific!

Excellent! NCFA Sunset Beach Tech - Octopi ΓΔΒ! Going to college gets you closer to the real world, kind of like climbing a tree gets you closer to the moon. pollux Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 That's a really nice feature Chris! I'm thinking you're going to do it for all leagues eventually... But it's a nice thing to have a quick overview for a certain year! Four times IHL Nielson Cup Champions - Montréal Shamrocks (2008-2009 // 2009-2010 // 2012-2013 // 2014-2015) Five times TNFF Confederation Cup Champions - Yellowknife Eagles (2009 CC VI // 2010 CC VII // 2015 CC XII // 2017 CC XIV // 2018 CC XV)

tmorss9 Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 this probably goes into the category of help, but I just cant see anything but text on CC's site. All the logos are a red X in a box. Anyone have any idea what I need to do to my computer to get it back the way it should be? "Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias"

simpsontide Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Man, those DS and LCS logos for MLB this year are FINE.True. The DS and LCS logos have that classic baseball look.
Dilbert Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Love this idea! Cant wait for the other leagues! Signature intentionally left blank
PackerBadger Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 What a terrific feature. I see 2006 is there, but no team logos look new; can we assume the '05 logos were just added to '06, since no team has probably announced an '06 logo change? So I go to the date of my birth, and see ... the 1960s MLB logo. Oh my god, that is bloody awful.
