New Logos! New Site Feature!

Hey there,

Took a break from the gruelling NCAA to add a neat little feature on the site -- not sure how many out there would like it or not but it's there nonetheless.

Inspired by a similar feature on Yzerfan's site, I call it "Logo Year in Review", it allows you to view all of a league's primary logos (thumbnailed) on one page, comes with a handy dandy search feature within the section (page wide search feature on the way).

With this new section comes four unreleased logos (at least that I'm aware of), check out the new section and the 2005 MLB Post-Season logos here!

Please feed me your comments/critiques about the new section in this thread if you have any.

Enjoy.

Does Major League Baseball still use those highly detailed logos for the American & National Leagues? I thought they pretty much switched to the newer streamlined versions.

They are still the official primary logos -- the simplified versions are considered Alternates

The only time that I have seen the streamlined version are for the interleague games.

Great job on the updates. I like the thumbnails; they are handy-dandy.

That's a really nice feature Chris! I'm thinking you're going to do it for all leagues eventually...

But it's a nice thing to have a quick overview for a certain year!

Four times IHL Nielson Cup Champions - Montréal Shamrocks (2008-2009 // 2009-2010 // 2012-2013 // 2014-2015)

Five times TNFF Confederation Cup Champions - Yellowknife Eagles (2009 CC VI // 2010 CC VII // 2015 CC XII // 2017 CC XIV // 2018 CC XV)

Great fuature and very resourceful. Are there any official anniversary or special club logos for the 2005 season?

this probably goes into the category of help, but I just cant see anything but text on CC's site. All the logos are a red X in a box. Anyone have any idea what I need to do to my computer to get it back the way it should be?

I've got the same problem. No clue why either...

What a terrific feature. I see 2006 is there, but no team logos look new; can we assume the '05 logos were just added to '06, since no team has probably announced an '06 logo change?

So I go to the date of my birth, and see ... the 1960s MLB logo. Oh my god, that is bloody awful.
