Saintsfan
Yesterday saw the first international 20-20 game between Australia and New Zealand, and to mark the occasion both teams donned retro one day pyjamas.here are some pics. Watch for the extra style points some of the NZ players added.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/ph...ies/4272927.stm

Saintsfan
For those Americans and others who don't follow crcket closely, the New Zealanders have a group of fans called the 'Beige Brigade' who were the old style beige NZ one daqy shirt to games. So to celelbrate the launch of international 20-20 cricket the NZ team decided to wear the beige outfits and Australia followed suit by usingf a retro design as well. it will be iunteresting tro see what is used for the 20-20 match between Austrralia and England in June. I wold liove to see England in a podwer blue and navy outfit from the early 80s!
Alphabet Man
Look what i found!Glen 'Pigeon' McGrath pretende to roll the ball under-arm on the last ball of the match, like in the famous match 20 or so yrs ago.And Umpire Billy Bowden gives Pigeon a Red Card as a joke, everyoen say the funny side to it
jr79
I own one of those shirts already! FILA has been selling them this summer with the old WSC badge on them (the three black stumps under the red ball) as a retro item. They just threw the current sponsors/badges onto them for the 20/20 game
plattopus
I was slightly disappointed at the amount of effort the Aussies went to... the only one getting into it was Kaspa with his Lillee impersonation. The Kiwis went above and beyond with their mutton chops, porno moustaches and that one monumental afro. But it was without a doubt the most entertaining night of cricket I've ever seen. Played in great spirit.
