Remember the part where Reggie Dunlop (Paul Newman's character) put a $50 bounty on the head of a Syracuse player? Well, looks like life imitates art.$200 to anyone who took out Flint's Kevin KerrCoach Steve Shannon of the UHL's Motor City Mechanics placed a $200 bounty on Flint's Kevin Kerr because of Kerr's remarks about NHLers playing in the United Hockey League. The ONLY reason why he has a job with the Mechanics is b/c of his association with Derian Hatcher (he's a hanger on with Hatch...I referred to him as his caddy). I'm a fan of the U and this type of BS gives the league a bad name...good on the powers that be in the U for smacking this clown down for this idiotic move.Sheesh, and everyone would have figured it'd have been MY team (the Danbury Trashers) that would have pulled a stunt like this.... You would think after the Todd Bertuzzi/Steve Moore incident, that commenting on intent to injure like some of the Canucks did after Naslund's concussion, that some of these coaches and players (INCLUDING minor leaguers) would shut up already. I'm glad that he was suspended for the rest of the year. I think that he needs to go into psychiatric evaluation before he can come back into the league.
