That link isnt good cuz u need subscription, but concerning the deal:

I dont think its too bad for Minny. Randy is an awesome player, but they get a LB, some low round picks, and the 7th pick which could be Mike Williams, who could be an all-pro and doesn't have nearly Randy's attitude.

What to think?????

For a Packers fan I can think

a)yes i dont have to look at him 2 times a year

b)this makes the vikings even worse, because they lose argubably their best picture

or

c)this gets rid of a cancer, and improves them by a lot

well have to wait and see

Really, with Kerry Collins at QB and now Moss and Porter.....wow! I would bet the over on both Chiefs-Raiders games this year. This makes me feel really good about the Chiefs secondary now :cry:

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow

Dang. You know, I really wanted Randy Moss to stay a Viking.

The Minnesota sports scene has had more than their share of losses...

- their baseball team has long been a bunch of young guys overachieving, and leaving for bigger salaries once their initial contracts are up.

- they lost the North Stars to Dallas, and only recently rejoined the NHL with the Wild.

- their basketball team sucked for at leasy 10 years before having its first legit chance last year, but lost.

Seriously. You know things are bad when a Winnipegger empathizes with you.

Offically, on hold for a week for salary cap restraints, here's what the Vikes will get for Moss:

  • [1]The seventh overall pick;
    [2]A late round pick;
    [3]Linebacker Napolean Harris.

Are we clear on this?

"I better go take a long walk off a short pier or something."

Some people on this bolard have told me to do just that.

My "Ron Mexico" alias is "Jon Tobago".

It's on hold because no trades are allowed to happen until March 2. Teams are allowed to negotiate, but can't pull the trigger till the 2nd.

The Late round pick is next year, I do believe.

I'm guessing he'll wear 88, his college number, or 80. 84 belongs to Porter, and 88 belongs to Doug Jolley, but maybe Randy can pull a KW2 and buy it away from him.

i highly doubt that Doug Jolley would give the #88 up. hes been wearing it for awhile now. Plus hes the most bad ass dude on the Raiders, because hes related to me :P
