Randy Moss Traded

I am fine with it. My guess is the rest of the players just got fed up with him. It was time for him and his attitude to go.

Good riddance. I'd rather go 6-10 without him than 7-9 with him.

*sighs* I was hopin the Falcons would get him..

Oh well..

Celebrations are in order for the Pack fans on here.

huh?

They ran an article in the AJC about the pros and cons of Randy Moss coming to the A-Town. I figured it would never happen. It didn't. It looks like the Pack is gonna cruise to yet another NFC North title.

cruise? It will still be a 1-2 game race, but I still think the Pack will get the division. The way the division looks though, the Lions have a good shot at winning it.

I think Moss would hold out if he got traded to ATL. Hes all about stats, and he wont get them in a-town.

Hey, you give Vick a high-quality receiver or two, and we're goin 14-2 next year. Most people don't know that one of the main reasons that Vick's passing numbers are mediocre is because our receivers are mediocre as well, and he has no choice but to scramble... <_<

But you might be right on Moss holding out, he's the kinda person who would do that.

14-2?? lets be realistic. Im not trying to be a hater, but I personally dont think the Falcons will win the division. I think they will contend for a WC spot.

I say next year? I meant this year, my bad ^_^

But anyways, I'm thinking that next year is gonna be a banner year for the NFC South, so I agree. We MIGHT win the South, and if we don't, we'll for damn sure get the wild card.

What's wrong with thinking a young, 11-5 team with mediocre WR's and that lost a few games that should've been won could go 14-2 with the addition of a top WR? Especially considering that you seemed to think that Terrell Owens suddenly made the Eagles into the NFL's greatest team.

Do you watch any other team besides the Eagles? Seriously...your analysis of the Falcons is pretty terrible and uninformed.

Did you know the Falcons were the #2 seed in the NFC last year?

What makes you think they're suddenly going to struggle?

And to add onto my theory...

I'm thinking that 14-2 would be good enough to win the division... Because I seriously think that Carolina would go 13-3 if healthy, and the Saints 11-5 if they found the intiative to actually play a full season.

As long as Haslett remains coach of the Saints, I wouldn't worry about that team. It's been like four seasons in a row where that team has seriously underachieved. And Carolina will be good, but I think Mora and Co. (with another year under the belt) will have Atlanta in prime shape for another division championship. The toughest part is beating Tampa.

When Dante Culpepper, Moss' good friend, is saying it's time for Moss to go, you know he's a problem in the lockerroom. Hell of a talent, though -- Good thing the Broncos got Champ Bailey last offseason.

yeah but i saw bailey get burned a pretty decent number of times last year anyway, i think against, who was it? was it the bengals? i really cant remember, but there was one game where he got burned like five times. i think this will just make it worse.

Bailey got beat on two plays against the Bengals, really -- one of which his feet got tangled up with another Broncos DB. That was the, like, 60 yard TD pass by Johnson -- and then I don't remember the other.

And then against the Raiders too -- but that was in the snow and was thanks in part to a couple perfect throws by Kerry Collins and a LB having a lapse in zone coverage.

And I should add that the Broncos didn't get anything that resembled a pass rush in either game.

yeah thats it. those were the only two Broncos games i really saw last year (other than the blow out when the broncos played the raiders in oak town, but i left that game at halftime). werent they both primetime? i dunno, i just remember laughing my ass off. needless to say bailey didnt impress me much, but thats about the extent of my broncos football knowledge

I think Carolina will win the division. I think ATL will make it as a WC. And I get to watch every team with NFL Sunday Ticket.

Yeah, he didn't do so hot in primetime -- but I think that's because he tried to do too much.

Don't forget -- Champ Bailey was still an all-pro last season.

Champ got burned like 21 times when the Broncos played the Chiefs in K.C. Anyone hear anything about the Broncos trading Droughns to Miami for Surtain?? It was a rumor a couple weeks ago, but it's kinda died down.

And EaglesFan, did you just reply to your own post?? Fantastic! And with you having the Sunday Ticket, it boggles my mind that you didn't know that the Falcons' receivers were somewhere between terrible and mediocre, which is why they don't have good stats. Vick's progression goes from 1) Crumpler to 2) Covered receiver to 3) Crumpler to 4) A blanketed Crumpler to 5) Hell, I guess I'll just run with it.
