Korkie
The Sixers get Chris Webber, Matt Barnes, and Michael Bradley for Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner. I know C-Webb isn't what he used to be but 21.3 ppg, 9.7 rebs, 5.5 assts. is awesome no matter what and he actually gives AI some help. He should fit well into O'Brien's scheme of outside shooting and passing, which will free up Korver for more shots, open up the lane for AI and take some pressure off of Dalembert. This may not get us past Miami and Detroit, but we should win the division now and be much more competative. I hope we trade Robinson for a back-up power forward, Rodney Rogers maybe?, for depth, but wow, C-Webb for overpriced crap and even better we didn't have give up any of our young core players (KK, Iggy, Green, Dalembert). to Philly, Chris!!! HappyBrownie13
i dont like this deal for Sacramento at all. It's obvious from the 3 smaller contracts they picked up for essentially one huge contract (Webber) that they're planning on doing plenty of dealing this summer, especially since none of those contracts they acquired are up after this season. Very odd deal if you ask me.
jamesjduncan
I didn't even know! I don't follow alot of basketball, but the AI/C-webb combo makes me think that I may actually sit down and watch a game or two. What were the Kings thinking? JamesCraven
"He should, Andre wore 24 at Arizona so he could switch to that." It's retired for Bobby Jones for the record. Andre will have to pick another number.

PhilaLogos
i was definitely happy to hear this. Webber can add alot to this team with his shooting and passing ability along with his size. We will be a contender in the East, but we're still no Miami Heat. But Rodney Rogers? I dunno about that. He looked fat and slow this year, even more so than past years. Maybe they were just so pissed with Big Puppy they sent him to the worst team in the L. Have fun in New Orleans Glen! (and now with no Baron Davis, haha, servs him right). the_cynic
These are some pretty weird trades. I don't think Webber has too many seasons in him now. I can't really see him fitting in Philly all too well.

CZzyzx41
The rumors I'm hearing is that the Maloof brothers didn't get the new arena they wanted so they're cutting payroll in a political move to say they can't afford a competitive team with the arena they have. They are shopping the team to Las Vegas potentially. Makes sense. Don't they own a casino or something down there?Sad. As a Kings fan since the Danny Ainge days I'm not happy. Sacramento may have been angry at Chris for some of the things he said about the city but he was a force on that team and this trade makes no sense as far as basketball is concerned. Yeah, they own the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. That would be sweat if they moved the team out of Sacramento. I've never liked the fans there! That's just my though and you don't have to like it. Just think about that before you start to bash on me.
officeglenn
Baron Davis to Golden State (no idea for whom)I saw on The Score this afternoon that the Hornets could be getting Dale Davis and a couple other players for Baron, but I haven't seen anything official yet.Whoops, I stand corrected: TSN.ca. Of course, it does say that Baron told reporters of the deal ... maybe he just wants out of there bad enough that he'd tell the media anything.
