Roger Clemente Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 An idea I had floating around for a fantasy team, I realized the Stars could probably use it too.Comments?--Roger "Time?" Clemente. CC97 Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I love it!.. that should have been their alternate, it's a nice nod to the northstars in a modern dallas kinda way --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
PhilaLogos Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 haha, wild man! I like it though. Im not a hockey guy at all, but its alot better than that cow constellation or mooterus as u guys call it.
zer0dotcom Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 crisp. the stars in the stripes looks good
JamesCraven Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Sure as hell beats mooterus! "I better go take a long walk off a short pier or something."Some people on this bolard have told me to do just that.My "Ron Mexico" alias is "Jon Tobago".
slapshot Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I like it a lot except for the shoulder stars...those look a little busy. If it were just one star, it would stand out better as a shoulder patch. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
pollux Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I like it a lot, but as jp said, the shoulder stars make it look a little too busy. Other than that, great execution! Four times IHL Nielson Cup Champions - Montréal Shamrocks (2008-2009 // 2009-2010 // 2012-2013 // 2014-2015) Five times TNFF Confederation Cup Champions - Yellowknife Eagles (2009 CC VI // 2010 CC VII // 2015 CC XII // 2017 CC XIV // 2018 CC XV)
Roger Clemente Posted February 28, 2005 Author Posted February 28, 2005 The thing I trying with the shoulder stars was something along the lines of Houston Texans jerseys where you have this sort of thin stripe that starts before the armpit of the jersey and then becomes wider at the apex of the shoulder, only with the Stars jersey, it''s more wider. I just think that when actually worn, with the sleeves down, the effect could look amazing and could make it look like the shoulders are bigger than they are.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. ColeJ Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 i don't love it....it's not bad, and it's definately better than the mooterus, but i'm getting some strong 80's washington capitals vibes from the insane amount of stars.... i mean, after all, they play in the LONE star state i don't mind the shoulder stars at all, and i think the idea is pretty cool for them. however, all the mini-stars in the white stripe are what turn me off from this concept. they just look too busy.and about the logo... i much prefer the stars logo with a black outline between the green and gold, instead of white. i guess it's just always been black, so white makes it look weird to me.
Cashcleaner Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 That is very, very nice work. The stars do get a little busy on the shoulders, but they totally work on the ends of the sleeves and around the waist.Good job. Thanks go to Eddie010 for the Signature and Avatar. Nice work, mate!
jeh-see Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I like it alot! You know what I think would make a cool Dallas set? Take the jersey cut from the "Mooterus" alt, and make home and road sets from that jersey with the current logo, and pop in Rog's alt to complete the set. Thats just my opinion, which prob dont amount to much, especially since im not a Stars fan.~UJ

Neon_Matrix Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Thats a hot jersey...even hotter then that uterus. Because Korbyn Is Colour Blind, My Signature Is Now Idiot Proof - Thanks Again Braden!!Go Leafs Go!

DarthMan Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 are there enough stars? "We have nothing to fear except fear itself."
