GeorgesL
I recently redesigned the Montreal Royales' uniforms, but transformed them to when they used to be the Royals, a Brooklyn Dodger farm club. SO, yes, they're supposed to look like the Dodgers.I kept the Royales' (CBL) logo, but the uniforms have only blue, and I used the Expos' road script, because I think it rocks! What do you think of these? PadreHomer
The home script looks a lot like the Padres old script.
GeorgesL
The home script looks a lot like the Padres old script. I like the Padres' old script, plus I was too lazy to draw a Royales' cursive script.

bulldogbarks55
Nice job. A couple of suggestions. Stick with the solid Royal Blue cap. The two-tone caps are out, unless one is a bp cap, then use the logo. Also, you need numbers on the front of the jerseys, and because you want to stay with the Dodgers look, they should be Red.You don't need two Blue jerseys. Stick with the "Montreal" one. My final point is, why did you use the GIANTS number font when you want to keep a DODGERS look?I saw the original IL Royals play in Rochester several times. The first game I saw Tommy Lasorda pitched and he had black hair then!
CZzyzx41
I can personally say that I would love for Montreal to get a minor league AAA team now. They will draw AAA type crowds if the team is successful and besides minor league baseball is more casual for the fans and I think the city will like it. Of course take for granted I've never been to Montreal and I don't know anyone who ever has.

Of course take for granted I've never been to Montreal and I don't know anyone who ever has. I've been to Montreal, the last visit being 1997, but it wasn't to see the Expos. But, yeah, if Montreal can get at best a Triple-A team, I'd be all for it. Just because a major league team moves out of the city, doesn't mean the whole sport of baseball has to. appleclock
Is there a decent stadium in town? I can't see AAA ball going to the Big Owe.PS nice concept!
pollux
Is there a decent stadium in town? I can't see AAA ball going to the Big Owe.PS nice concept! Right now, I can't see any stadium for a AAA team. The only one would have been at Jarry Park but they brought it down to make place for the Uniprix stadium (I think), which hosts the tennis competition every year. That being said, I really like your concept, alsfan. It's simple and it has a traditional look and feel. I would only use one script across the chest instead of two different ones.
