I was an usher

I am too, from August through (usually) late January.

Eagles?

Yup. Section C-9 at Lincoln Financial Field, since it opened.

Nine games a year.... how do you survive? ;)

More like 12 Eagles games (pre season + playoffs), 4-5 Temple games, the Army/Navy game, and a few Soccer games.

Games in late November through the end of the season can be bitterly cold (especially this year's NFC title game.) We had to shovel snow and lay down salt that day, and some guy had to get his fingers amputated due to frostbite (OK, so he wasn't wearing gloves - nobody ever claimed that Philadelphians were the brightest folks.)

And, to put it mildly, crowd control at Eagles games can be a "challenge."

Ok, ok, I'll give ya that -- although I'm sure I can at least somewhat relate, with 18 Yankees and Red Sox games here every year (granted the 63 other games are pretty much incident free)
