so the Fleet Center has been renamed. glad to see it the garden again, although td northbank is quite a mouthful. will they put that whole name on the side of the court where 'fleetcenter' was? last year for a bit they just had nothing written there.

Nope. The bank's official name is now TD Banknorth. Their merger with TD in Toronto has been finalized.

Like anyone here in Boston is going to call it anything but "the Garden" now.. or maybe even still the FleetCenter. No one is going to call it "the TD" like those folks hope..

I find it funny that arena in America, let alone Boston, will bare the name of a Canadian bank...interesting the way the world works now a days...
