officeglenn
3-0 Maldini, Crespo(2) Oi ... this could get ugly. There's a guy on my soccer team who is a rabid hardcore Liverpool fan; I imagine he's either flinging bottles in rage or crying into his beer right about now. officeglenn
Liverpool!!!Some more great play by Dudek in the shootout. He may have been a few feet out on that second one, but he sure wasn't on Shevchenko's.I'm just glad to see an English side win it.
dwertman
The trophy goes to an English side...thats cool, even if it is Liverpool lol.I love Shevchenko, but i wanted to see pool win it.But are they gonna be able to defend it,since they finished outside the top 4 in the domestic league? CaolinaJoe
WOW!!! I went out for about an hour and look what I missed. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given usthe freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes theflag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, andwho allows the protester to burn the flag."Marine Chaplain Dennis Edward O' Brien

TFoA
As much as I wanted AC Milan to win (and trust me, I did) I guess I'm happy Liverpool won. That match was probably one of the best I've seen, and it was almost movie-like. But did anybody else get a laugh out of how Dudek was trying to distract the kickers during the penalties? That was classic. The whole game was classic. But AC Milan freakin choked, AGHHHHHH Β Β
lost_limey
A classic, indeed. Now if only I knew the words to "You'll Never Walk Alone" ... When you walk through a stormhold your head up highAnd don't be afraid of the dark.At the end of a storm is a golden skyAnd the sweet silver song of a lark.Walk on through the wind,Walk on through the rain,Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.Walk on, walk on with hope in your heartAnd you'll never walk alone,You'll never, ever walk alone.Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
