Stampman Posted March 5, 2005 Share Posted March 5, 2005 Well Leafs vs Bruins was the first NHL game in Canada on TV--but as you never narrowed it down...(Unless that hockeey book I read all those years ago is wrong!)--Okay I re-checked and saw yes the Leafs Bruins was first NHL in Canada, but just over a decade earlier (1940) an NHL game was broadcast as an experiment-It involved the Rangers and a Canadian based team other than the Leafs!
