Eh, they sure weren't going undefeated throughout the regular and postseason, so now they'll have two losses when it's all said and done. They're a good team, but they benefitted from an incredibly weak Big 10. I can't see them as National Champs.

Well its hard to go unbeaten Illinois lost so what the only thing that matters now is the NCAA Tournament.

Maybe this loss will help in that it they wont have as much pressure.

And they won't be number one when the polls come out manana.

Some people on this bolard have told me to do just that.

that was awesome, I watched the whole game, they led the entire way but we pulled it out with good defense at the end and timely shooting, but even with this loss there is no way illinois will not be no. 1, it's not football.

There's no way this loss helps them. All it does is demoralize 'em. Weber will teach them something with this loss, but they'd been better off without it.

I would have too. And my house. And my family.

But, it was a close game, one little thing and they would have won.

They'll still be number one, or they should be anyway. If Duke beats UNC, I'd say they'll definatley still be.

We'll still win the Big Ten tourney and while I'm not gonna gurantee something that has so many wacky things in the way, they still are the best team in the NCAA tourney field.

I could be wrong, and probably am, but isn't Ohio State on probation or something?

opps my bad i forgot that the buckeyes are ineligible for postseason play

Alright, so I'm not just making stuff up. lol.

The win probably would've gotten 'em in though.

Well they did say that because the Buckeyes could not participate in the postseason, this was their Championship game. What a win. I just wish it would have been Cincinnati beeting Illinois in December instead.

you don't elevate anyone to number one, illinois stays where they are even despite a weak big ten, i think they are still a great team.

And yes we are on a one year postseason ban which sucks because this team is actually decent unlike the last two years.
