WJMorris3
What 5'7" point guard for the Baltimore Bullets is perhaps most well-known as a player for hitting a game-winning shot in 1971 with 3 seconds left?
WJMorris3
No guesses at all? Here's a hint. He's MUCH better known as a coach. In fact, he coaches a New York team right now.

WJMorris3
I'll note that he coaches a New York professional team. Though he used to coach (and play for) Washington.

WJMorris3
Wes Unseld never coached for New York.Time for another hint. He only played one season, and it wasn't for the current Washington franchise.

newsenterprise
hint: The 1971 Baltimore Bullets had no one shorter than 6'3". I don't think the '71 Baltimore Bullets had anyone shorter than 6-3, either.
WJMorris3
Okay, I've let this one drag on long enough. The answer is "Red" Klotz.
CaolinaJoe
What does he have to do with the 1971 Baltimore Bullets? I see he played for Baltimore in 1948 and coaches the New York Generals of Globtrotter fame.He has nothing to do with the '71 Bullets and I don't think anyone thinks of the Generals as "Professional". I agree with all you say...BUThe never said he played for the Bullets in '71. It's a very poorly phrased question leading you to that assumption but it's an inference that isn't there. He hit the game winning shot in '71 AND he's a former Bullet, but the two are mutually exclusive.
