also with the dates, could you try use for example Mar 13, 2005 or 13 Mar 2005 as opposed to 2005-03-13 or whatever is the American way because from what i know, the Americans are the only coutnry that writes the date like that (and maybe Canada, not sure) or is the US using 03-13-2005 or something like that?

I do it Day/Month/Year...I find it to be easy to do.

I suggest that one should use letters instead of numbers indicate the month and put the full year (order is up to you). There's less confusion that way, especially considering people have different ways of putting down the date.

I like the new design. I also like red.

I think it's only certain people in the South that don't like red (maybe because they're Georgia Tech fans and red reminds them too much of the other school in Athens...)

might i add a suggestion for a category on the site?

board member creations. just some of the best ones you pick out. i think it might be a nifty idea, increase traffic and bring in more users to the boards.

the only unambiguous way to write the date numerically is YYYY-MM-DD, since no one uses YYYY-DD-MM. it also makes sense in that it goes from longest to shortest time periods.

Everything old -is- new again! I do like that redesign, it could definitely use some colour. I do wish you'd find what I call the "full" version of the logo, with your name, the balls/sticks, etc. It's hot.

As for the date stuff, generally in the States, it's month day year (MM/DD/YYYY), whereas in most of the world, it's day month year (DD/MM/YYYY). I don't know if it's an invention of the computer era, but when I'm abbreviating dates in filenames and such, I tend to use the ISO 8601 format of year month day (YYYY-MM-DD or YYYYMMDD), so that they can be properly sorted.

[EDIT: Sorry ReginaCanuck, didn't see your reply when I made mine, didn't mean to echo you.]

Interesting. I've always did numerically as MM-DD-YYYY. I do that on all of my CAD drawings.....
