That does look pretty sweet! I don't follow much NCAA sports, but I gotta admit there are a hell of a lot of nice looking jerseys and court designs for the basketball. I particularly like Boise State's colour scheme.

That's the cool thing about watching the tourney. If you are like me, you only really watch your favorite team and the marquee matchups every year. But now, you get to see all these crazy courts and stuff. Its fun.

Boise's is pretty cool honestly. They've definatly got an eyecatching overall identity for their athletic programs. Love it or hate it, you always remember the blue fields and their bright basketball courts.

That court is bizzare what are they smoking in Boise.

I think they use a lot of the potatoes to make vodka in Idaho based on how their fields are designed. But then again, I guess this is the only way that a school in Idaho of all places can get the nation's attention (well, besides the fact that they have a top 10 football team).

I loved the BSU court.  What was with the NCAA covering up the center court Lute and Bobbi Olsen Court at Arizona?

In most venues that the NCAA uses for "March Madness" they will place an NCAA Logo in the center tip circle. (it's not that everyone on the planet knows it's the NCAA Tournament).

Some venues (like Bosie) do not have a center tip circle so some where on the court there is an NCAA Logo.

Some of you "March Madness" fans must be fairly young.

If you remember Boise State's old arena, where Magic played Bird for the 1979 NCAA championship game, it also had a unique court scheme. It was used until this season for NCAA tourney games in Boise, remember Hampton knocking off Iowa State?

Well, that old Boise court was the first one I remember "Painting" the area inside the 3 pt. arch instead of having the paint painted it was just the wood color.

Boise has always been out there with their court and field designs. I am hoping to get out there next September when Bowling Green plays them in football.

Does anyone have better pictures of Colorado State's court?

No this is ugly, you can see kinda what it looks like on the far left of this picture:

I actually dig their court. I like how different stains on the wood look. Obnoxious paint jobs on the other hand...

Actually didn't Magic play Bird in the Huntsman Center at the University of Utah in 1979?

Their football field was the first thing I thought of when I saw the court. I thought it looked cool at first, until the games started, then it just became a distraction. It was hard to keep up with the action b/c I just kept focusing on that bronco head. On a side note, I probably would've been better off focusing on the court design rather than the actual play when my Tigers got STOMPED by UAB.
