This allowed the members of the coaching staff to take turns being the manager of the team. They also used multiple managers in 1962.Oh yeah, the managers in 1961 were Vedie Himsl, Harry Craft, El Tappe, and Lou Klein. Charlie Metro, Tappe, and Himsl were the managers for the 1962 season.
