Neon_Matrix
I really want one of those green caps. Seriously.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. You and me both buddy. I ordered a Jays hat last week and it should be here this week, its pretty slick. I want a green one (I have a green Bo'Sox hat) and I like the sound of this red jays uni and hat. Then it would be x-mas with my red and green caps!!! Because Korbyn Is Colour Blind, My Signature Is Now Idiot Proof - Thanks Again Braden!!Go Leafs Go! omnivore
Hey, why not wear green? The BLUE jays don't seem to want to be blue anymore. In all honesty, what's the facination with St. Paddy's day? Why don't the pros commemerate other holidays? Heck, the minor leagues (especially hockey) seem to have a jersey for everything. Green uniforms are fun and all, but bring back the July 1st red uniforms first! Heck yeah. Where they all had Canada as their names. That was so cool. Dilbert
I think that the green jersey is good for one game, but when it comes to teams such as the BLUE Jays or REDS or WHITE Sox or RED Sox wearing green, It just doesnt look right. quantum
How cliche... Sure, all the teams celebrate St. Patty's day by wearing green. Why don't they do what the rest of us do -- get drunk and expose themselves in public? j/k "One of my concerns is shysters show up and take advantage of people's good will and generosity". 29a
Red uniforms are fun and all, but bring back the blue (and the old Blue Jays identity) first! Here's a letter from Godfrey on that issue:Thank you once again for your letter regarding our present logo and the Blue Jays' upcoming 30th anniversary. As I have indicated to you before, the Club's new logo has received more public support through the sale of merchandise than our previous one. Our research shows that, in the past, with our old logo, we were near the bottom with respect to merchandise sales out of all 30 MLB clubs. Some of our fans still like the original logo, but the vast majority prefers our current new logo.I do appreciate your strong interest in the Club and your suggestions. It is great to know that we have passionate fans. However, changing back or adding the old logo would not be in the best interest in marketing this Club.I do thank you for your continued interest and support. And it is signed by Mr. Godfrey.I guess that's how it's going to be... Can't say that I'm happy
