The New York Jets have significantly upped their bid for the rights to build a new stadium on Manhattan's West Side.

The $720-million bid - representing an increase of $620-million over the Jets' initial offer - surpassed a $600-million offer from Madison Square Garden owner Cablevision and a $700-million bid from TransGas Energy Systems LLC.

The Jets' final offer reportedly came in the closing hours of the bidding process.

I hear if Dolan wins the bid for Cablevision he will build a giant statue of himself that can be seen from space. Since he is only bidding of his ego.
