randyc 358 Posted April 3, 2005 What a blowout in the Women's World Hockey Championships, 13-0 for Canada, the amazing thing is the shots were 55-2 for Canada
Stampman 104 Posted April 3, 2005 While there are some strides being made, outside of Canada and the US most countries don't have much of a woman's hockey program...Once upon a time the Canadian men's teams did the same thing--other countries caught up...Still

officeglenn 2,520 Posted April 4, 2005 When I was home at lunch today, I was surprised to see Canada walloping Russia ... it was 5-0 about 3/4 through the second period, and I see now the final was 12-0. But the commentators also mentioned that Sweden was playing Kazakhstan ... the shots were 53-2 for Sweden, but the score was still 0-0. Final was 5-1 Sweden.
