simpsontide Posted April 5, 2005 Share Posted April 5, 2005 I was curious as to how UNC got to wear their home whites in the game while Illinios wore their orange "home" jerseys also. I know both were #1 seeds but ,according to the CBS Selection show,Illinois was the top overall #1 seed. I wonder if the NCAA stepped in and said that there would not be two colored jerseys on the floor and made UNC wear the white.I know in 1993 in the title game Michigan wore their gold jerseys while UNC wore their blue threads.
