Lowell Lock Monsters concept

I think Lowell should lose all the red and drop their Hurricanes template which has NOTHING to do with their identity. So here's a concept I put together with more purple. I also tried to separate the red and the purple visually with the black and silver so that there's less clashing.

C+C welcome and appreciated.

Not bad, but Manchester kind of has the monopoly on purple. There's no other color to emphasize that's not already used by other teams in the division, except maybe red. Portland seems to alternate between black and red, but Lowell stands out with almost solid red jerseys.

Since Lowell's colors are black, purple, red and silver, the Hurricanes share three of those colors, so the identity fits. It's not as interesting as the scaley-spine that they wore in the first few years, but it still works.

I like this concept. The purple makes more sense here than in their regular jerseys, where it seems just kinda thrown in to me.

I was thinking about the flags along the bottom of the Hurricanes template. Also, the way they currrently let red and purple touch on the sleeves of the white jerseys looks bad to me.

I also think the logo gets lost on a purple jersey, because Louie (the mascot) is purple. The logo stands out better on a red or black field. You need a much thicker white outline around the whole logo for it not to get lost on a purple jersey.

I still think the purple is stronger, but i'm open to more critique.

I like everything but the red. I've always hated how purple and red look together... maybe that's just me. In my mind it would look better if you replaced the red with green.

Are you talking about replacing the purple stripes on the red sweater or making the purple sweater green?
