Hes 41 and I think his heart is in the Bronx, plus hes out of shape eventually it all ctaches up with you and all of a sudden your time is up. I dont think this is just being early for Wells I expected this, and I think he will be miserable for the Red Sox and will eventually lose his starting job and will have a horrendus record.

I think Boomer has past his expiration date...if his heart is in NY, and he's playing for someone else...time to hang them up. It was good whjile it lasted, and he'll always be remembered for pitching a perfect game

it's the curse of the Perm (Pedro)...

Oh god. Lets hope theres not another excuse for losing 84 stright years <_<

Does this mean the Mets are gonna win 26 World Series Championships over the next 86 years?

--Roger "Time?" Clemente.

 Well considering the way the Mets are playing so far, I doubt that will happen :D

When I first read the topic title, I thought to myself, "There's nothing new with Wells getting smashed."

Then I realized you meant "getting smashed" on the mound, not in a bar.

My bad. :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. :hockeysmiley:
