For those of you who have been asking for field templates, they are finally here.

Just go to http://mrudolf.tripod.com/fields for vector graphics of 16 different fields.

Available are:

* baseball

* football (NFL, NCAA, CFL and Arena)

* basketball (NBA, NCAA and international)

* hockey

* soccer

* field hockey

* lacrosse

* tennis

* softball

* volleyball

* curling

They are all to the same scale, so you could lay them atop one another if you are designing a multi-sport facility. (Caution: although you can put a tennis court in a hockey rink and it will fit, you can not put a soccer field on a volleyball court. Just won't work. :laugh: )

Enjoy.

Michael

  • 5 weeks later...

I made a new addition to my hockey jersey template: (copy and paste)

http://www.geocities.com/rogerclemente_isx/jersey.gif

I have now included a new thicker elastic type V collar.

I believe the Bruins currently use that style, and not only that, but the Penguins used that kind of neckline on their hummingbird jerseys.

BTW -- props to RC for adding that new neckline. I designed my own style v-neck, but this one is way better. Good job!

EDIT

Courtesy the 2002/03 River City catalog, here is the list of NHL teams who use the thicker v-neck collar:

Atlanta (H, R)

Boston (H, R, A)

Buffalo (H, R)

Carolina (H, R)

Colorado (H, R)

Columbus (H, R)

Edmonton (H, R)

Florida (H, R, A)

Los Angeles (H, R)

NY Rangers (A - both white and blue)

Ottawa (A)

Phoenix (H, R, A)

Pittsburgh (H, R)

St. Louis (H, R)

Vancouver (H, R, A)

Of course, this is all subject to change for next season!  :;):

I thought that Ottawa used it on all three jerseys.  I own a replica home and third jersey, and they both use elastic V-necks.  Oddly though, I don't recall seeing a Sens road jersey that uses the elastic V-neck.

I'm happy to release my new football template.

My old one is setup as if it has pads under it, and I decided I don't like that. I prefer a flat setup.

I have this in vector and raster format. I have 8 different cuts included. Eight .gifs or one .eps.

There are mesh inserts available, as well as the Giants and Bills style of tapering collars.

When rasterizing some quality was obviously lost. Overall, the only thing I'm not big on after looking back is the mesh inserts. I feel the holes are too big, and there are not enough. I may release an improvement on that later, but for now I will leave it.

I put a copyright thing on the page for protection, but obviously I share the templates with all of you.

And finally, the link.

with the help of the SSUR, I have created some color palette files for all the teams in the Big Four.

http://the_shark_says.tripod.com/palettes.zip

all files in the zip file are bmps in order to maintain each color's correct RGB accuracy. besides, bmp files are easy to use with PSP or illustrator.

I went through some of the other post and I think you are right jkrdevil, there is not a vector template of the hockey jersey.

So I created one from the template made by STL FANATIC, with the sweater from Roger Clemente. I made some very slight modifications to some of the curves and lines, but nothing that makes a big difference.

I hope that this helps others, and thank you STL FANATIC & Roger Clemente for your original artwork. :)
