stimpy
Yeah I dropped Wahoo, changed the red and focused more on the red. Sorry for the bad quality, anybody have a better Template I can use?C&C please, we all know I need it.
Perfect Zero
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Wahoo needs to stay! Otherwise, what will my future children think of when they see Major League for the first time? He, na, it's good. The red looks a little maroonish though. kansascityjayhawk4
Wahoo is a classic... He's one of those things that without him, the franchise wouldn't be the same. Otherwise the jerseys look good, but maybe more of a crimson red rather than a maroon.KC Jayhawk
MJWalker45
I sense a great disturbance in the Force . . . oh wait, wrong sport! Wahoo needs to stay, but I think Cleveland should toss their home alts and bring back the navy jerseys with "Cleveland" for the road and return the other navy "Indians" jersey to the alt. schtee
boo on chief wahoo. the tribe used to rock a cincy-style 'c' and then a 'c' with a tiny wahoo and in the 70's just rocked a jagged 'c' so the wahoo is clearly not that essential. i know many disagree, but personally, their name is not offensive but chief wahoo is. i've spoken to several tribe fans who feel the same way. i wouldn't mind them returning to the 70's "c" instead of the "i" which i don't feel is a strong mark. @aghease
The_Admiral
Too many Cs. Chicago, Cincinnati...okay that's two, but you get the idea. The Orioles COULD wear a B, sure, but Boston is the team that wears a B on its hat. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
iowahoo
As an indians fan, i say that is a decent attempt, but they have never changed the color scheme, so I don't expect them to any time soon. As a uniform/logo fan I say I can't stand the "I" logo- I think a lettered logo should be the initial of the city or not at all. Also, I am sick of the damn softball-esque sleveless jerseys. I picked up my local paper the other day and there was a picture from the Indians Rangers game and it was in black and white of a Rangers pitcher that I swore was wering the Indians vest jerseys. Is MLB really getting that unoriginal to design template unis for all teams? Yuck.
VitaminD
I think a lettered logo should be the initial of the city or not at all. I agree with you, but before making a blanket statement, I have a question:Do we then make an exception for the A's?As for the Indians, they've tried one "C" after another: wishbone, funky/jagged '70s style, plain serifed block. None of them convey much of an "Indian identity". They could certainly come up with something that would capture their identity better than Wahoo that would satisfy all of the people who find Chief Wahoo offensive, but they've yet to do so thus far. Until they do, I prefer Wahoo to the cursive "I". I say that, fully disclosing that I am NOT wading into the political correctness aspect of Chief Wahoo; that's for other forums. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
