I thought the Yankees could get a few more years from Tino and he could split time with Nick Johnson. However, you should give Giambi a little credit. At least he told the truth to the grand jury and didn't try to get out of it by saying he thought it was flaxseed oil. With that said, he should except the demotion and the Yankees should try to get out of this bad contract any way possible, even if it means the help of Howard Spira. CaolinaJoe
He should go if they try to send him. But, the Yankees should stay on the hook for the money. There is NO WAY IN HELL they didn't know exactly what they were signing. They knew he was a roid monster. They just didn't forsee the landscape in the MLB drug testing policy to change. George took advantage and never complained when it was ok to roided up, let him pay now. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given usthe freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes theflag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, andwho allows the protester to burn the flag."Marine Chaplain Dennis Edward O' Brien

When Conseco first started to talk about writing his book Giambi told Torre that if Conseco's book came out he would be screwed.
