New Orleans Saints Concept

The Saints logo and colors have the potential for some really nice uniforms, and the ones they currently use are just really disappointing. So, I tried to make them look a little more...catchy. Here's what I came up with, C&C welcome:

Y'know what, I just realized I forgot to add the numbers on the shoulders. I'll probably submit another version of this in the near future anyway. C&C still welcome!

Like: Double outlines on the numbers, striping pattern on black panats, logo on hip.

Dislike: Template may be a bit too generic. It looks very nice, but I think you could take a little more of a chance with this concept.

very nice, except the shoulders are a little too houstonish

i really like it, but now that i really look at it and the comment about being too houstonish...i suggest having a different design on the shoulder

First...THANKS! The Saints are so desperately in need of uni help but nobody's stepped up until now (at least that I've seen - forgive me if I missed a previous effort). It looks good.

Suggestion - make the front and back of the shoulder design the side pieces of the fleur de lis, and add the top part on the shoulder, i.e. the point towards the collar. It's hard to explain in words.

Don't like the so-called San Diego style numbers on the black jersey - Saints had that on the old 80's jersey - but I do like 'em on the white jersey, using the gold primary color for the number and the white/black outline. It'st the reverse of this:

Maybe using the gold numbers on the black jersey, with a black/white outline? The pants look great.

Thanks again.

As soon as i saw it i thought of houston but it is still a good upgrade.

What about a design with the fleur de lis on the shoulder area kind of like the cowboys used to have the stars on their shoulders.

I wish they would just use pants where the stripe matches the one on their helmet, that's all I ask.

I think it's strange how I've heard alot of people compare this to the Texans' uniforms, when I actually based these on the Patriots' uni's, lol. I certainly appreciate all the comments so far, keep 'em comin.

Pats, Texans... basically any team that has one color dart going over the shoulders (instead of the more traditional 3 stripes, like the Vikings' white jerseys and both of the Colts' jerseys) is going to be compared to somebody.

Overall, nice work! I like the Saints' colors, and the helmet didn't need any revamping. I would make the last names a little bigger; they're small almost to the point of illegibility, at least on my screen.

Good work.

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

Pretty sweet. Two things i'd like to see changed though. I'd like to see the home pants be gold and the away sleve stripes be black. Other than that i like em. Nice work. :)

I like those a lot. Good job on the black pants - definately better than any version the Saints have worn. I agree with the above poster that you should go with gold pants for the black jersey.

These look absolutely great. I think the only thing that could make these better would to add the state logo (with the fleur-da-lis indicating New Orleans) either on the sleeves or the pants and maybe alter the shoulder stripes a little. Great job. I've always wanted the Saints to use white pants...at least as an alternate.
